The HEB Pharmacy app is a tool to manage your prescriptions and access the services at your local HEB Pharmacy such as immunizations and health screenings. You can refill prescriptions, review your prescription history, and manage prescriptions for your family, among other great features.
The Redesign
HEB Digital had need of a visual refresh of the HEB Pharmacy app that would not only give users a more modern experience, but would also address several pain points. Our team was responsible for the overall visual redesign, the Solve the Line Initiative, and the experience redesign of the features 'Refill by Scan', 'Refill by Account', and 'Check Status.'

Solve the Line Initiative
HEB Pharmacy solve the line initiative was devised by HEB Digital and the team at InMotion Software to give users of the HEB Pharmacy application more options to receive their prescriptions. There were three ways proposed to do so: collecting them from a 24-hour drop box, having them delivered to your address, or giving advanced notification of your arrival to skip the line. Users received notifications via push, text message or email, each with a link to the app or direct to the HEB Website, where they could fill out their orders.
The use of these features depended on a user’s login status, their history using the application, and if their Pharmacy account is linked to the app.
