It was created with layers of transparent paper, cut with exacto and stacked, and a set within a custom light box with color changing LED lights.

Inspiration
Journey is an experimental video game created by That Game Company. In the gameplay, the player embodies a silent character who must complete a voyage through ruins of an ancient civilization, slowly discovering the story its downfall. This short, ninety minute experimental game has fantastical landscapes and haunting music, and each playthrough is a different experience. Through light, color, and transparency, I attempted to recreate the feelings of wonder and magic I experienced throughout my time with the game, retelling the story through my eyes.
